In the time it takes to listen to an aria, you can make an impact by contributing to the Glimmerglass
For 39 years, Glimmerglass has drawn audiences to Cooperstown for an unparalleled cultural experience. Our intimate theater and lakeside setting provide the backdrop for an exceptional escape. We have expanded our Festival with concerts, a Meet Me at the Pavilion series, ShowTalk, Q&As and enhanced Young Artist offerings. After the Metropolitan Opera, we present the most opera in the state.
We are able to do all of this on a modest budget thanks to a dedicated staff, a devoted army of volunteers, a renowned Young Artist apprenticeship initiative and an internship program that brings students and post-graduates to Glimmerglass each season from across the country to live and learn alongside seasoned professionals.
To maintain our special festival, our grounds, our facilities and our acclaimed training programs, we need your help. If you value Glimmerglass, we ask that you please make a contribution to our Annual Fund. Your support will help ensure continuation of music in the country, stimulating programs and lively interaction with artists and friends.
