The Glimmerglass Festival turns dreams into reality. Each summer, imagination takes flight, ideas take shape, and stars are born. This season, our titles focus on the idealism of youth – they speak to the hopes, aspirations, curiosity, and passions of growing up and what can happen when sometimes life doesn’t play along. Afterall, life’s journeys are full of twists and turns. We never know what obstacles we will overcome or what joys will come our way.
We invite you to journey with Glimmerglass this season with productions that span the entire history of productions that span the entire history of opera, from its very beginnings to an American world premiere.
