2014 Festival

100 years of music, one amazing season

Next season will bring together four mainstage productions that span 100 years of opera and musical theater, representing the dramatic scope and range of the genre during the modern era. From Puccini's 1904 favorite, Madame Butterfly, to Tobias Picker's 2005 contemporary masterpiece, An American Tragedy, these productions juxtapose classic tragedies with comedic themes and grand opera. Our 2014 season also includes our popular Getaway Weekends, packed full of special concerts, discussions and meals with artists.  You won't want to miss this thrilling and illuminating look at 20th-century musical arts.
