Ticket Policy

Ticket exchanges are free for Ticket Package holders with 48-hour notice and $5 per ticket for single ticket buyers, with 48-hour notice. You may only exchange tickets for the same show on a different date. Exchanges are subject to availability and additional charges apply for higher-priced seats; there are no refunds for lower-priced seats. We cannot guarantee that seating will be comparable to the original tickets. One exchange per production, please.

Don’t worry – simply contact the Box Office and we will resend your tickets to your email.

There are no refunds or cancellations. This applies to all ticket purchases, as well as events.

If you are unable to attend, contact the Box Office to exchange your tickets for a different performance date.You may also consider converting your Festival tickets into a tax-deductable donation and you will receive an e-mail acknowledging your contribution at the end of the summer.

Latecomers, and those who exit during the performance, will be seated at the discretion of the House Manager.

No smoking, drink/food, photography, recording devices permitted in the theater. Bottled water is permitted and encouraged.

Everyone must have a ticket to enter the theater and you must sit in the location specified on the front of your ticket. We recommend age 6 as a minimum for attendance. Younger children must be accompanied by adults. No babies-in-arms or children sitting in laps. Children and adults who become disruptive will be asked to leave the theater.

All single tickets will be charged a $8 processing fee. All group orders (15 or more people) are charged a $5 per ticket handling fee. All Ticket Package holders are charged a $10 processing fee per package.

There is no resale of tickets on campus. New York State Law prohibits the resale of tickets within 500 feet of the roofline of the theater. Violators are subject to ejection from the campus and forfeiture of tickets.

  • Ticket holders grant permission to The Glimmerglass Festival to use their image or likeness in connection with any broadcast, publication or distribution
  • We reserve the right not to sell a ticket to anyone for any reason
