Join us this for a Glimpse of Glimmerglass’ youth opera program with the first youth opera commission — Odyssey.

In Ben Moore and Kelley Rourke’s operatic rendition of Homer’s epic tale, featuring members of the Young Artists Program and the Glimmerglass Youth Chorus, stories of Odysseus and his faithful wife, Penelope, are given new life with rollicking sailor songs, dramatic storms, a mesmerizing Siren song, a riveting tango, a poignant love duet, and more. Action-packed, colorful, and just plain fun, Odyssey played to standing-room crowds in its 2015 premiere.

This 2018 revival brings the same electric energy and a sneak peek inside one of Glimmerglass’ hidden gems.

Run time: 1 hour.
