This Saturday, join us at 4:30 in the Pavilion for a program dedicated to Candide‘s wordsmiths. Members of the Glimmerglass Young Artists Program will offer a lively hour-long program of poetry and lyrics set by Bernstein, Douglas Moore, Marc Blitzstein, Ricky Ian Gordon and Stephen Sondheim. Pack a picnic to enjoy between the concert and the 8:00 p.m. opening performance of Macbeth – or, if you prefer, enjoy a selection from our newly revamped concessions Marketplace, which opens at 6:00 p.m.
